 In some of the urban bus shelters in Kansas City, the benches have been removed to prevent people from loitering, sleeping, or otherwise not waiting for the bus. Riders at this shelter have almost permanently usurped a nearby free paper box to serve as a bench. Today a man added an empty bucket to the usual seating arrangements. -heidi |
