Disneyland recently opened a new attaction that restored the old Submarine Voyage attraction that originally opened back in the late 50's. The ride was revamped for the comical adaptation of the Finding Nemo movie resulting in a new attraction called The Nemo Submarine Voyage.

Our ride began with a 120 minute, YMMV, line that wound throughout the beautiful blue lagoon adjacent to the Matterhorn mountain. Our vehicle was an Explorer 607 yellow submarine that packed a comfortable 38 some people into its cavernous belly. Or as Dory refered to it as a big yellow sea cucumber. Inside the sub, you discover that your bound for the amazing reefs off the coast of Australia. The sub decends a few fathoms into the deep where their technologically advanced sonar hydrophones enable the passangers to listen to the fish TALK! As a result we can hear as the fish communicate with one another where we discover that Nemo is lost. The rest of the details were intentionally left out because there is much to see and experience aboard this ride. Overall the ride was pleasantly comical and I highly recommend you try to visit this attraction as you share the experience with a loved one. I give this attaction four out of five golden monkeys.

Ps. Be sure to stop at the famous corndog stand to get a yummy deepfriend slice of heaven on a stick. You'll sure enjoy the complex intertwined culinary mixture of batter and beef... Yum. Also, if the Sub ride was a bust for you and your crew, head over to Space Mountain.

[One Last Note] Happy belated birthday to all the Hiptop Nation members, congratulation to Mike for getting rehired, congrats to Mr. Popovic for safely finishing his bike tour, and to all the 2007 graduates congratulations as well. Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there.... This concludes my week long birthday celebration, thank you. =o)
