Four hours in line to get off the playa Sunday afternoon, and a night in a hotel in Reno and we're finally on our way back to the Bay Area. A great burn this year even though we were all a bit jaded and blasted with sandstorms. Maybe I'll get around to a full post and upload some pictures eventually, but at this point I'm still enjoying the time away from the Internet for the most part.

Oh no, it's a bee out!

It looked like a lot of soldering, and it was. One of my three SpokePOV kits is done, and appears to work. I haven't assembled the USB dongle to program it, and I don't have a bike to test it on yet, but those are just details. It lights up, that's what matters at this stage.

Everything on my packing list is out and ready to stuff into my bag for 2 weeks in Alicante. Amongst the items: two laptops and assorted accessories, a psp, ipod, sidekick, 2 cameras, extra lens, rope dart, gpsr, clothes, and of course a bathing suit for the beach. :)

Three flat tires in a month. Talk about bad luck. All the same wheel too. Think it might be the screw sticking out of it this time.

Time for two more fillings and a deep cleaning.

We went up to Coit Tower to watch the sunset for Heather's birthday yesterday. Quite the view since it was an incredibly clear day in san francisco.

Saw this on the shelf at the corner store and figured I'd give it a try. Yes, Iced Brisk Green Iced Green Tea Apple Flavored is the full name. I didn't notice the "Apple Flavored" until later. Tastes like a watered down appletini without alcohol.
