Well by now all of you know about the black out on the upper east coast. Since im one of the only people blogging from NYC I thought id share my experience..

Lights went out around 4:15 pm in NYC good thing I was home when it happened. Some of my friends weren't so lucky. One of my friends got stuck on the train and had to walk thru the tunnel. Then walk from manhattan to queens. Some of my friends got stuck in the city and walked across the brooklyn bridge . We just lit candles and chiled on the stoop and bugged out and cracked jokes all night. This morning was a mad scramble to the supermarket which had a long line of people buying batteries, water, ice and things like that. Happy to say none of our food went bad and everybodys safe. Nothing ttoo exciting happened in my part of town and im glad that's so. So all in all everthings good now. Hope yall all are safe .
