For xmas, my dad and his wife got me and Britni a night @ the Sofitel in Chicago. We just got checked in and into our room at the top, on the 32nd floor. What a view. Now we need to find out what we're going to do this evening and tomorrow. Any suggestions? Yes, that's a speakerphone in the bathroom, with an absolutely necessary mute button. :)

Almost a month after we moved, we finally got a couch. No more sitting on the floor. Pics are of me in the UHaul van we had to rent to transport the couch, the couch behind the cage, and the cats enjoying the new furniture. Since it's been here, there hasn't been a time when at least one cat wasn't sleeping on it. Now we need to get some more new furniture around the living room.

Sitting and waiting for Britni's sushi takeout @ the Sushi Station. They have a cool little traveling display of sushi, and an evil motion triggered thing that keeps saying something in japanese everytime I move. Hehe I love the way sushi looks, too bad I'm not a fan of fish. Oh well, time to hit up Chipotle for my dinner.

taking the long drive to chicago for the weekend. The midwest gets flatter and flatter. hehe britni says "at least in ohio we have hills" Whoa, I just looked up and there's the snow we've been hearing about. that was pretty sudden. looks like we only have about 2 more hours to go. :)

I went down to the Tmobile store to see what sort of deal I could get on a color SK. 20 minutes later I was signing the line. I had put off buying a new csk because of the ridiculous price for existing tmobile customers. But I got it on a second line with a $50 rebate and $50 account credit, bringing it down to $149, which I'm willing to drop. Everyone's going to chime in and ask why I didn't get it from amazon for -$30. That's where I got my first one and had a hell of a time getting help when it broke on the 3rd day. Took me over a month of complaining until I got a working *refurbished* one. Bleah. So I'm loving the new csk. I bid the farewell BWSK. You have served me well, enjoy the company of my other no-longer-using gadgets. The clie will keep you company. :)

Well we didn't get hit with the snow in Columbus too much, but we saw some on the way up to Cleveland to see Britni's family. I'm not liking this snow coming through. I have to move in 3 weeks, and I don't want to do it with snow. :( Btw, any HN'ers in Chicago?
