Verizon is outside near my backyard fence to install a "messenger" cable because the existing ones are bad. He asked me if our dog would bite and I said he probably would. Our dog as a thing about men wearing uniforms and hats. I had to bring the dog in the house. I usually don't answer the door in the day time when I'm getting ready for work. I answered the door this time because our dog kept barking and thought maybe it was the neighbor next door say that Bingo got out of the yard. Anyways, I asked the Verizon guy if they ever called customers before they came out to do this type of work. He said usually, NO. I asked him how long it would take and he said they'd be in and out all day and then he suggested that I put our dog in the garage if I have to leave the house. It didn't dawn on me at the time and I don't konw what the guy was thinking, but it's been 95+ degrees in SoCal lately. So it's definitely a NO-GO for putting Bingo in the garage. I don't know if the Verizon people are done yet, but I have to physically be in the office today for the post-server upgrade issues (if any) from last Saturday.
