Heard the news about Kobe. I remember when DramaKween first told me about it and before charges were officially brought, she was really sad and wouldn't believe what he was accused of and wrote the victim off as being a gold digger. She said that he has achieved so much and it would be stupid for him to do something so dumb to risk his reputation, career and family.

I told her that although he is well liked by a lot of people that the victim may not be lying.. Just last month I got her a custom Lakers jersey for a grad gift with her name on it and Kobe's number -- 8. I don't know if after she hears the latest news if her perception will change.

A lot of kids look up to Kobe as a role model. Now these parents of young kids are going to have to explain why their "hero" is in trouble.

DramaKween & friend are going to the Magic Johnson Midsummer Night's Madness @ the Staples Ctr on Sunday. This latest news will bring up some stuff for discussion on the ride there.

l'm bumming because Kobe is DramaKween's fave athlete after Iverson who also got into trouble earlier this year.
