I'm "experimenting" with D-Link Air+ DI-614 2.4GHz wireless broadband router, wireless cardbus adapters & USB adapter. I had tried using Netgear's stuff, but my PC could'nt see the router. Setting up th D-Link stuff was much easier & the h/w less bulky...just gotta make sure WEP has outside stuff on lockdown.

I've been to every corner of the house (1600 sq ft total) & the lowest signal strength was 79% & link quality range is 90-100%. I expect that very few people in my neck of the woods are into WiFi. All the Starbucks in my area have T-Mobile Hotspot for WiFi...maybe I'll check that out too, the next time I go for a gingerbread latte :) = Happy..Happy.
