For dinner tonight it was my first "real" effort at making sushi... Nothing fancy, just simple california rolls (norimaki) and inside-out california rolls (uramaki). They aren't the prettiest but I must admit they taste pretty damn good, very fresh and it feels good knowing exactly what's in my food! Sushi looks deceptively simple but to get that roll perfect isn't as easy as it seems.... I will keep practcing though... Took my instructions from the book, "Easy Sushi" by Emi Kazuko.... On the side is gyoza, which is not so hand made (but hand pan fried!) but artfully placed on my son's Spongebob plate, LOL!
