Thursdays are my day in DJ's (second grade) classroom.. I get to help out in reading groups, spelling and any other little projects his teacher may have for me to do. Its so much fun interacting with the kids, especially at this age... they are still innocent for the most part!

DJ asked me stay and have lunch with him and on today's menu was oven baked chicken with mashed potatos and gravy with carrot coins... I don't know about you but the chicken I had in grade school was not this big, LOL! Man Churches (or KFC) aint got nothing on the cafeteria chicken, and you KNOW Churches has got some BIG chicken, lol! Mmm, the soft, sweet rolls and the orange drink were so good, DJ hardly ever buys lunch... He doesn't know what he's missing!
