with recent sr. prank crackdowns, very little is open to us. This year is different. Instead of one small group that will inevitably be suspended for any prank we're trying to employ the tactic of "overwhelming force"

It's like file sharing over the Internet, if everyone has a little stake in the crime, impossible to stop. For example its better to have 10 ppl walking around with 10 water balloons each, than one person walking around with 100 (who will get stopped right away.) Therefore there will be water balloons distributed to all in no less than packages of 10. Its very Tomas Crown Affair.

Naturally there are specialized units who will be executing more complex missions in addition to the general class of 03 assault. They are analogous to the green berets of this operation .


although water balloons sound lame, the event is quite unique. It wi ll be the first time that such a large number of students will be involv ed in one common prank. Getting 500 clique people focused on one task w ithin a few late night hours is even harder than it sounds. The shear v olumes of balloons and people involved in such a short amount of time i s enough to make even the most socially apt student's head spin. But i must say that the task was made easier by chat, e-mail and cell ph ones (we really have to be one of the most wired public school st udent bodies in the area.)
