At first, I thought the "Texans" was the worst name you could give a professional sports steam based in Houston, TX.

Apparently, I was wrong.

We just recently got a professional soccer team, their name was the "Earthquakes" (from los angeles, so I guess that makes sense). Well they needed a new name now that they're here. Looks like they stayed up all night thinking up this one. All hail the "Houston 1836".

At the time of the naming of our football team, many commented that the only worse name than the "Houston Texans" would be the "Houston Houstons". Well holy crap, now we have exactly that name.

I'm at a loss for words to describe how dumb this is.
