Phoenix has an astounding mix of culture, albeit we are dominated with more then a normal mix of Mexico (which is normal here; this is a border state). We also have a large Chicago-ian influence.

Near my house is this small hole in the wall greek resturant. It's sandwiched between a Blockbuster video and a Samuri Sam's, a japanese fast food chain.

The food is really good, if you like gyros.

There is a sign facing out that says "preferred by 3 out of 4 people". But the sign was folded, and on the inside it says "over the McDonald's quarter pounder". I found this amusing, and thought I'd share. --sub-ether --subether
