After spending the longest period of time without a hiptop since 2002 I got my replacement unit today. I can no longer say that I've not been away from my hiptop for more than 48 hours in 2 1/2 years now.

Being hiptopless was eye-opening and at the end, somewhat refreshing. In the meantime I've been using a Nokia 6610, a Sony EricssonT610 and a Motorola RAZR. I hated them except the old Nokia. It is a decent little friend. I have also had more of a private life in the last week and a half. That was neat for awhile. It's good to be back.
