13 of us to discuss the removal of unauthorized content management systems that some people have created on one of our servers. Some people flat-out said that they wouldn't comply with the changes. I actually agreed with the host of the meeting today and therefore participated quite a bit.

It boils down to this: When we do work for a client, we need to bill that time. If we are doing work for a client that we are not billing, we need to evaluate why that time is being spent. There are cases, obviously, in any business, where off-the-record time makes a huge difference with your relationship with the client. Having incomplete and unapproved content management systems are a bit too much for us to be doing for free, though. Especially when they don't work and are utilizing server space that should be used for live projects.

Not everyone here agrees.
