Went to the Riverview Theater this evening to see films created in the 48 Hour Film Project. Simply put, you are charged with making a film in 48 hours. You are randomly given your genre 10 minutes before it begins and told three elements that must be included in the film. It took place last weekend and the three elements were "D. Poe the Runway Model," a "Congrats" Balloon, and the line "Do you have a breath mint?"

The screenings of the completed films were tonight and tomorrow night.

Friend Bo Hakala got "Superhero" as his genre and with his crew created the hilarious "Hover Man," a story of a super hero who slaps sense into people. And, he hovers. A witty and very humorous piece. The audience was rolling.

Was also plesantly surprised to see local actor and Comedy Central's "Let's Bowl" star Rich Kronfeld play a very funny character in the piece soon after, "Tapiocolate."

Overall a wide variety of pieces and well worth the $8. A lot of fun.
