So I landed this new job working as a Plotter Field Tech/Network Analy/Sales Rep/Branch Head Designer....catch was, they need to ship me off to Irvine Ca. (Bout 50min S. Of LA) for a week to get certified to work on Roland printers.

At first I was thrilled, my last trip to california left something to be desired to say the absolute least, I saw it as me returning to somewhere that was under really bad conditions prior, to me going there now for a very positive reason. The hotel is 1mi away from Laguna Beach and has a bunch of cool resturaunts I can eat at at the expence of the company, and the hotel I'm staying in is in a historical district, and the actuall hotel is in a documented National Historical Landmark....sounds cool right?

.....I wish.

Two nights ago I started to feel ill. I knew some sort of respotory infection was comming (a lovely side effect I started noticeing after I quit smokeing). Add me now being and feeling sick as a dog, I freaked myself out by looking at the TSA.gov site to make sure I didn't get carted off by HLS going through security....that site is enough to make a hypocondract feel like they are the least paranoid people in the world.

But check in went good, my mother and gf saw me off so they were able to keep me sane untill we got to the check point, after that I just slaped on a smile and acted as iof I've done this 1 million times (zen).

So now I'm just trying to relax, I got an hour before my flight leaves...mom and my gf just called to see If I was hanging in there, I love them..so I got my ipod loaded, relaxing to Vivalidis Our Seasons and drinkin a chai latte hopeing this virus with go away soon so I can at least enjoy myself in the 70degree weather
