Made from leftover mushrooms and tapenade (olive paste) from Thanksgiving dinner. My brother was going to make a souffle but didn't, so we have 3 dozen eggs to use up. We also bought like 2 pounds of cheese to just munch on, and only ate like 5 ounces of it, so there's tons of cheese in my fridge now. (Not complaining). I figured I'd put everything to good use. How was it, you ask? Delicious. :) Ferris helped me cook by sitting a nearby chair and napping for an hour and a half. He declined a sample. Such a modest chef. The best part of all this tho is that all of this was bought for Thanksgiving and therefore paid for by my father. I won't have to buy groceries for like a week. Go me. :) (He went back to Minn. this morning, btw.) ------------------------ Bird (Graci) -tinyurl.com/yfsa4m -tinyurl.com/yagdmz ^ Do not click, animal porn |

| I got an ipod Sat 11.25.06 3:11pm PST #19925 |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() On black friday I saw that Apple was having a small sale on their ipods. $31 off the 80gb video ipod I've been eyeing for awhile. So I caved and decided I'd get myself an early xmas present. Unfortunately the online store was down, so I decided I'd just run down to the store down on Stockton st. I knew it was black friday and I knew it would be crazy down there, and I'd probably endure hell, but saving $31 for the cost of a $1.50 bus fare is a good deal. So I hopped the #5, jumped off on Market st and merged into the sea of people covering every square inch of the sidewalk. Popped into the Apple store, glanced around, didn't see anything interesting, snagged a girl on the floor who checked me out with her little handheld device, and tossed the ipod box in my bag. It was so quick that I was able to use my bus transfer for the ride home instead of dropping another $1.50. Roundtrip time, under an hour. Not nearly as hellish as I anticipated. Public transportation++ Mobile checkouts++ 80gigs of music/video++ Sinai says I'm officially an SF hipster now with my bus-riding and ipod owning. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thansgiving weekend started with me bringing our cat Annie to the animal emergency bc she'd been sneezing for 2 days. They wanted to keep her overnight bc her liver values were weird. We got her back friday evening with medicine and special food. Friday was the big moving day when we got our tv. Took about 3 hours and lots of swearing to set it all up. Tv not so bad, but try to wire in surround sound, xbox, ps2, dvr and it becomes hell. Finally got everything to work.. Still a few tweaks and going to move some of the components otherwise good. Tv is amazing, crystal clear. Also made the long trip to Ikea for 2 chairs and footrest downstairs to hang out and enjoy it in. Also got part 1 of 2 of my new car project. Installing a dvd screen on the cubby that flips down, and next week my dvd/satelitte radio/mp3/cd head unit comes in. Should be fun stuff... if anything it makes me feel like I'm cool. That's about it. Hoping to get home soon to watch more tv, play more Xbox. For now, we pack more stuff at the inlaws. |

| Eat 'n Park Sat 11.25.06 10:39am PST #19922 |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Lunch was actually at Eat 'n Park. This was our first try at this chain of family restaurants. The food and service was a better than Friendly's or Denny's. My entree was a not-too-greasy cod fish sandwich. The waitress brought Cianna a smiley x-mas tree cookie for dessert, but she declared it "icky" opting to chew on her pickle. - mike lee - somerset, pa |
