First post - got my SK about a week ago, and this morning it was powered down and wouldn't come up even after charging for a few hours. Tech support was unhelpful but I figured it out after fiddling with it for 20 minutes. (Held the power button down while pressing the hidden reset button.) So, here I am. San Jose, CA, the heart of Silicon Valley where the only thing worse than the T-Mobile reception is the price of housing. Guess I'd better call back and tell them not to send the replacement SK. ![]() ![]() At the mall, I just bought this cool new watch called the SnapWatch2 from Hog Wild, Inc. It's a tiny LCD watch circuit in a waterproof pod attached to a short length of thin climbing rope. The ends of the rope just snap on as you can see in the picture. This is a significant find for me as I haven't bought or worn a watch in five years. I just got tired of the sweaty grip most all men's watch bands have on your wrist. The SnapWatch is so minimal, you quickly forget you have it on. The only drawback is that the display doesn't have a backlight. The watch goes for $9.95, and the rope band comes in several colors. - mike lee - baltimore - curiouslee.com |
