I'm in my office to pick up my laptop, and I thought I'd capture the only visible signs of activity. On the video wall in the lobby, our harbor camera faithfully shows the shimmering street lights of Fells Point reflected in the calm water. The rest of the darkened office landscape is a digital Milky Way of blinking network activity indicators, which hint at the ghosts of web surfers accessing our servers.

This is the Mississippi River batture. It's a place we affectionately call 'behind the levee.' One of the last truly wild places within the urban sprawl. It's a great place to watch the sunset, relax and generally get in touch with what really matters. :::: cfinney :::: (via hiptop) ::::
