Eight electrodes attached, 14 left. FORTUNATELY keeping her up late last night and giving her Benadryl has let her fall alsleep--hopefully for the rest of the task. We had gone through all her books, all of mommy's purse, looked all the photos on my Sidekick, and called grandma. Pete is dipping the gold electrode tips in adhesive, sticking them on with adhesive-soaked gauze and drying with a jet of forced air from a compressor.

Mr. Pete is gluing on the electrodes...

Cianna, who is running on 1/3 less sleep than normal per doc's instructions to prepare for mild anesthesia, was ready for this morning's road trip to have her electrodes attached. We had episodes of crankiness, but hopefully she'll get a decent nap later today. As we were getting in the car, Geoff arrived to do some exterior house painting. Cianna called him "Santa!" and gave him a hug. I was thinking, yeah, even Santa has put off retirement to earn extra money in the off season doing home maintenance.

Cianna update: her medication has helped a lot, but hasn't eliminated the seizures. So this week we start experimenting with another drug. She also has to undergo an ambulatory EEG for 24 hours this Thursday and Friday. She'll have electrodes glued to her head the whole time feeding data to a portable computer strapped to her waist. I'm taking off work as I have to watch her the whole time to manually log the seizures. Look for some fun photos of all that...

We took a last walk on Old Silver Beach after checking out of the Sea Crest. It's about 50 degrees and breezy out. 3) We ran into Paula and Jonathan who did the all videotaping of the talks. 4) Laura and Dennis 5-7) Stopping at the American Lobster Mart by the Bourne Bridge at the entrance to the Cape for a yummy lobster roll.
