Blurry photos of severely cold water

The river outside my office window has built up a thick layer of ice over this winter of sub-zero temps. Last week, I even saw someone icefishing on it. Hopefully, it will all be breaking up and plunging over the falls soon. Should be a a good show. Yesterday's heat wave of 40 degrees melted a bit of ice off the top, but everything refroze once temps dropped below freezing again. Word has it there might be some more thaw this weekend.

Actually, it looks like the reporter took all my answers to his questions and strung them into one big story. That's ok I guess but it does make it look like I tend to ramble. And if it was me I would have added, oh I don't know, the URL to Hiptop Nation or something. Good thing we show up well on the search engines. ;)

Some folks at work decided to fight back against winter and declare today Hawaiin Luau day. So, Hawaiin shirts and decorations are brightening up the office today and everybody got lei'd.

And of course there are some macadamia nuts, pineapple upside-down cake, fruit salad and other foods that reminds us all of warmer times and places and nevermind that it is currently 19 degrees F outside.

When your project runs into a figurative brick wall, it is handy to have a literal brick wall inside your office to bang your head against.
