This weekend I'll be working at the Clearwater Hudson River Revival in New York. If anyone else ends up roaming around the festival, drop me an IM! Assuming there is coverage there, I'll probably be posting here throughout the weekend.

Phonecam Nation
quick article by Xeni Jardin over at Wired talking about phonecams:

"Is it public? Is it personal? Is it media? Is it conversation? We're about to find out."

The article is Phonecam Nation. Catchy title. (:

hiptop Nation site changes
this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayJust thought I would take a moment to let everyone know of a couple of minor site changes.

First, as many have noticed, images are now clickable. If you click any thumbnail image included with a blog post, you will link to the full-size version of that image. For most of us right now, "full-size" is the same size (120x90 pixels) as a "thumbnail". However, for those posting with the new SunCom HipTop (welcome, SunCommies!), a full-size image is 352x288.

See this post as an example of a post from the new SunCom device. Click the thumbnail for the full-size image.

Eventually there will be some sort of toggle so you can choose between thumbnails and full-size images in the post itself. So, the above link would look something like this

These changes should also work with the new camera shipping with the new color version T-Mobile Sidekick, which has a reported resolution of 320x240 pixels. If there are any T-Mobile reps with an advance version of the camera and color Sidekick, feel free to post a pic so I can actually test this :)

I've also updated the Support page, to make it easier for anyone looking to help support the site (thanks!).

Stay tuned for more changes (suggestions always welcome)!
