| Matt, is your fly down? Wed 08.17.05 7:12am PDT #14879 |
Instead of simply stating "your fly is down" or "close up shop" or "your barn door is open", people oft present this statement of fact in the form of a question. So, having Ragan present me with this question has now got me wondering. Is my fly down? I for one say yes, but I would rather poll a larger group rather than base my findings on just my own observations. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Well it seems that my wish for more rain has been granted. For the past few days we have been "blessed" with rain. Even my roof was "blessed" with the rain as a storm over the weekend tore a few shingles away with high winds. Luckily I designed and maintain a webpage for a the owner of a roofing company's diirt biike team. Small things like that get you big favors. I am up here, my car is down there. And the rain is everywhere -Matt |

![]() ![]() ![]() My Buddy owns an outdoor gear place here in Stillwater called Stillwater Summit Co. Pretty cool place. He's the one who hoked me up with the sweet Reef Gear Flip Flops, so when he asked me to come up with a cool design for his store based off his dog named Yeager, I more than obliged. His dog hangs out in the store, and people really seem to dig that. I think he'll sell a bunch of shirts. Bright colors on garment dyed tees with a slught weathered distressed feel to it to give it that worn in look. I used Illustrator CS 2's live trave feature on Yeager's head so that I may work with both photo and design elements within Illustrator and Freehand. I have to say that I can't wait toi see what Adobe does with Macromedia's Freehand MX. Presently I use both as my primary work horses for design and layout. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The last 3 times we have tried to eat at Mazzios, the place was OVER packed with people to the extent of there we people standing around with plates of food, but nowhere to sit. Rediculous. Today however was not the case. Pizza was fresh, the salad bar was crisp and refreshing, and there was a spot to sit. The only gripe is that they switched their cups to smaller sizes. Overall Mazzios gets 4 stars today. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cooked Nasi Goreng (fried rice), Mi Goreng (fried noodle), Sate (satay), and Lumpia (spring roll) for 42 servings at the Lodge tonight. I think some people were worried it was going to be too spicy, or didn't even know what to think. Had a bunch come back for seconds and got numerous compliments. Needless to say, my wok got quite the workout, and just a touch more seasoning. Glad I started at 3:30. I would never have had it ready in time for dinner at 6:30. I love to cook. Nothing like it in the world. Love it. |
