An End To An Evening
this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayIt was great to be out again with mi amigos, and to hang with Childers was a plus. Red and I were talking about what Skyline Radio is and what it has to offer, and each time it comes up I get pumped. Music flows through each and everyone. The good times sometimes get forgetten, but when you come home to where it all started, it takes you back. Alomost like a time machine. Each song is a door way to a day or a simple moment, one that time cannot steal, a memory that won't die.

Sometimes I feel we all get wrapped up in what we feel is complicated in our lives and by doing so- we forget what makes us who we are. The simplest thought, that certain sound that takes us back to THAT moment. Me? It's Jimmy Buffett. The loss of my mother, The strength I get from my family - from my friends, to enjoy each and every moment, to go back to that moment in time where EVERYTHING was simple. A simple time machine.

The ocean always calls to me and I know we all long for that ocean, for that wave, for that moment, and in such I feel we all walk through life looking for that Salty Piece of Land. -Matt

It was great to have Lemieux come back in 2000 and save the Penguins. I was able to watch him play in St. Louis a couple of years ago and it was freakin' awesome. He overcame a bone infection, back problems, and cancer to return to the ice and play the game. Hopefully having Super Mario in the front office will help in getting a new arena. -Matt
