I had to run to the art store to get more purplr non-print pencils to finish up my current project, but as my luck would have it, they are out. Great. So in the meantime I picked up this nifty Alvin Pencil Lengthener. Hopefully it will get me by until more pencils come in.

My impulse purchase is a Moleskine sketchbook. I think I'll enjoy this purchase. It is paper afterall. How can that suck? Plus with a selling point like "The legendary notebook of Hemingway, Picasso, Chatwin", how can I go wrong? -Matt
