Cooked an Isalnd Tilapia special tonight for The Lodge. And oh lordy was it moist and delicious. We had to get 8 more pounds for tomorrow night. We may not need it, but hey- better to be prepared than not have enough. -Matt

There are some things that just shouldn't be mixed. Coca Cola seems to have an affinity for wantonly mixing different flavors with their product, which brings us to Coca Cola Blak. I know Rockstar pointed this out and stated she was somewhat afraid to try it. Well I wouldn't be me if I didn't have these ferret like impulse purchase habits, and low and behold look at the shiny packaging. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'll try. It's either like you poured a coke in your coffee cup that had a half cup of cold coffee in it. You take a gulp and think "yeah... Ok..." But then the after taste kicks you in the slats, and then... Wait for it... OH! THERE it is.... And gag reflex.

Dr. Pepper has their Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper, and I do enjoy the flavor. I would also probably enjoy the new Berries and Cream flavor if Ragan had not mentioned that it taste like cough syrup. Sure enough... It does. That pretty much sums it up.

Two things that should never ever have made it to the shelf. And one more thing... Who did they use as a test base for these products?? -Matt

I tried like the dickins to purchase a new Xante ScreenWriter 4 Laser printer today, AND figure out why my current ScreenWriter POS is giving me an exit paper jam alert. Well after calling and leaving SEVERAL messages, and never getting a call back UNTIL it was too late to have anything over nighted to me, I am still exactly where I started. Oh... They did apologize for not being quicker. Gee. That makes everything... Better? Psshhh... -Matt

Wednesday night cooking with Paul Weber. Looks as if it might be a little slow tonight. I think everyone is just worn out from Blazathon. This year was our biggest yet. Fifty two enteries, and here I missed it by going to Florida. Heh... Yeah I was REALLY missing it. No I jest. I did miss working the long days for a good cause, but miss my brother pinning Lt.
