I came home to a package from Amazon.com thinking- I didn't order anything- and it turns out to be a rockin' Birthday present from our beloved Regan Avery!

Frank Cho's Women. For those who do not know who Frank Cho is- he is the artist and author of Liberty Meadows - among several other great works including splash pages for various comics and magazines. Franks art is unmistakeable in that his work is bold and clean. He literally carves his art into the paper with clean lines and black inks. His specialty of course is as the books title states - Women. The only other artist that I feel can come close to holding a candle to Cho's distinct stle would be Adam Hughes. Good- but nowhere NEAR Cho. Wooo hooo!

We were kinda worried about how many people might show up tonight as we cooked a pound of a ground beef and sausage mix with ALL the fixings. We ended up doing 30 of these gigantic burgers. So I guess it was somewhat a success.

I hooked our cook team (The Parrot Heads) at the Lodge up with some cook team shirts, which I think look rather BADASS. Tonight we are doing a Tropical Talapia, and tomorrow we are serving up "Cheeseburger in Paradise". One pound of meat served on a bun with ALLLL the fixxin's. We like to call it "A Night in Margaritaville" -Matt
