Went skiing at Whitetail (Mercersbug PA) today... Just about 4 o'clock the high speed quad lift failed, and they had to evacuate the chairs. Ski patrol was lowering people from chairs via rope when I left. - Marty

BustAGroove - funny you mention that; I gave the T-Mobile HotSpot a try today over a gb latte. : ) The prepay plans are steep (I got 120mins for $20- there was a $30 prepay plan too but I forget how many minutes. With a 1 year commitment for unlimited use I think it was $39/month. Anyway, it worked well w/my Ti PowerBook and Airport card. Signal strength was good. My session dropped once and I had to reauthenticate, but that was the only glitch. Link felt snappy, but it looked like I was the only user... You can sign up right from your browser on-site. - Marty
