![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well, I spent several hours cleaning my fish tank, so now my fish are happy. Got to watch a few football games...well, parts of them at least. Tech is great...I get many of them in widescreen HD with 5.1 surround sound. Finally got the country style pork ribs thawed, made a whiskey & ginger ale. Ahhhh. Now for a little night-time grilling. Weather is pleasant, it's 68 now. My hibiscus are doing well, a bit too well! Michael (wireless) IM: mwsmith70 |

| My dad's famous margaritas Fri 11.07.03 4:01pm PST #7112 |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's an old family recipie that my dad developed. It's very simple too. The only ingredients are lime juice, triple sec and tequila. The ratio is very simple too, 3 oz lime juice, 6 oz triple sec and 9 oz tequila. Yes, they are potent, but quite smooth. An easy way to scale the drink: Squeeze your limes, note how much juice you get. Double the amount of lime juice to get how much triple sec you need. Add the lime juice amount and the triple sec amount to find how much tequila you need. Example: 5 oz lime juice Double that to get 10 oz triple sec Add those to get 15oz tequila (!) Yeehaw! Important points: Use fresh squeezed lime juice. Pick limes that have smooth skin, they have more juice. Use good tequila (I'm using a 100% agave.) I've found that Bols triple sec works very well. Use your spent limes to wet the rims of your glasses, even if not using salt (but salt is HIGHLY reccomended.) Ok, now that you've got the mix together, it's time to serve. The original margarita was a shot, and is NOT served with ice. So, pour your mix into a shaker and add ice. Shake 'till totally chilled and strain into your waiting glasses. Then... Enjoy! Let me know if you try 'em! Michael (wireless) IM: mwsmith70 |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I work at an engineering company. Before 3D computer modeling, the only way to see if designs would work was to build scale models. I've always liked the way they look. Well, they have some pretty cool models they have kept from the old-school days.... The last shot is looking out the window from the 6th floor at the sunrise.
