After the Baptism, we retired to Pelham Bay Park in da Bronx, where a festivus was held for the rest of us. Ingredients for a great weekend BBQ: A little Vitamin H (as in Heineken, which I had to cover because of NYC Open Container laws), a little domino action, and some slammin' chicken, roast pork, spanish rice, salads and shishkebobs, and a little hiptop to record the event. Thankfully, I got some better photos of Isabella Angelique Santana this time...

Enjoying the baptism of little Isabella Santana. Friends and family rejoiced in the sweltering heat. It's all for a good cause (Izzy's Mom is the one in the red dress with the Deacon).

Having drinks at La Petite Abéille with my co-worker to celebrate surviving another week without taking a human life. I got introduced to this new beer (for me anyways) called DeKoninig. A bit sharper than a Sam Adams, it went down smooth as shit. 2 for 1 always makes anything go down smoother, though. The last is a photo of her parents Macaw named Woodstock...

She can't read yet, but has heard the Kipper book so many times that she associates the pictures with certain phrases she remembers. All in attendance were amazed... Seeing a child grow mentally before your very eyes is quite humbling...
