Success...
this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayFinally met up with Div, Arepem, Brit, and Jake as they strolled back through the job. They had a blast (see Div's post below) at the show, and we had a cool chat while they juiced up. I was so hyped to meet them that I even forgot to take a pic! It goes to prove that HN'ers across the nation have formed a little family. Much love to Mikepop for creating this site...Goodnight, 'Nation...

Heading into the city...
this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayJust got IM'd by arepem that apparently I missed a driveby from the Nation. Div, arepem, (and apparently Brit et al.) swung through my job lookin' for me. I had a last minute switch, otherwise I would have been in for "The Shocker." Hopefully I can get up with these crazy cats at some point...

Just when I finish doing a wonderful post of the tranquilities of my northern New York 'burb, some drunk driver blows a light in the early evening. He swerved out of the way of an oncoming car, hopped the curb, and plowed through the front garden of my building. All this happened in the early evening when we were away. No fatalities, no injuries even. Just a bunch of older people who were scared shitless by the oncoming headlights headed for their windows...

It occured to me while talking to one of my peons (new hires) that a lot of people don't know where the hell <a href="http://www.villageofbronxville.com/home.htm">Bronxville, NY</a> is. A lot of people just hear "Bronx-" and have visions of shootouts and drug deals. This sleepy little 'burb is about 20 mins. outside NYC (nestled between Mount Vernon and White Plains, NY). It's a quiet, toney little joint full of all the pretension that never having to work brings out in the ridiculously affluent. I like it because it's the ultimate change of pace from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Although I will always miss living in Manhattan, coming home to birds chirping (i've seen Bluejays, Orioles, and Robins), trees and flowers, and QUIET...it's priceless...

Quick shoutout to AREPEM, whom I unfortunately shitted on twice for drinks. I'm a prick, but I had a death in the family so I was out of it for a while. I hope I get the chance to make it up to you soon!

Damned Terrorists...
this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayThis is what a bomb-scare looks like live in Grand Central Terminal. A package was left by a mailbox on a street corner. The dog is now sniffing the perimiter, but something definitely set the dog off about the box. New Yorkers, being the sick bastards we are, crowd around a blockade to see the action. Hopefully you can see the 'tard mother with her stroller, almost front row. Makes me wonder about humanity sometimes. This is the only shot I could get off before the cops questioned me...

Respect...
this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayMy heartfelt condolences to s4xton. There are no words that could begin to do justice as consolation for you now. Just know that you are in my family's thoughts and prayers, as well as in the hearts of all "The Nation..." We're here for you, bro...
