Just because I have a kid on the way doesn't mean daddy can't have any fun... Took a break from painting and setting up to score The Godfather game for PS2, and Age of Mytholgy: Titans Expansion for the Dragon. I'll see you guys in about two weeks (^^,)

Up and coming Scottish rocker KT Tunstall was in my store doing an event. She's been getting tons of buzz and play on VH1, so we had a larger than anticipated turnout... Not only is she wickedly cute in person, but she did an amazing short set which rocked the house. Signage and photos came afterward, with me getting my CD signed and kissed... Part two of my Bday weekend involved an extensive BBQ... Drinks and food flowed freely. I became very aquainted with Johhny Walker's little known Canadian cousin Hiram (pictured above), and Johhny himself was there to make sure we all got along. Ribs and Burgers were not pictured because they went too fast, but the chicken, potato salad and seafood salad were off the hook! Finished the debauchery with a cake (mmm... Buttercream). Next up: another food and drinkfest in my boy's house in Bayside... I love this weekend!

I succumbed to the flu bug that wiped out my wife. To help speed up the recovery process: 1)Assorted Celestial Seasonings teas 2)Real Lemon juice 3)Honey 4)Hazlenut Coffee (can't live w/out it) 5)Authentic Dominican Chicken Soup 6)Hot Sauce

Most important of this all is the homemade Dominican soup. Had Grandma load it up with hunks of chicken(on the bone), spinach, carrots, potatoes, broccoli, yuca, and cauliflower. Lemon juice helps take it over the top. It's more of a stew than a broth, but packed with such nutrients that you can't help but feel better. The Hot Sauce just opens up the flavor (and my sinus cavities) even more...

First the wife got sick with the flu bug from hell, and now I'm sick... While we're both stuck at home, I decided to do a little cleaning. Watch as the Rhoomba literally runs circles around it's predecessor, and keeps on going. After all that hard work, the Rhoomba (I call mine Boba Fett) takes a well deserved charge break. And for those of you who still doubt the Rhoomba's powers, I give you exhibit A, a grocery bag full of dust and dirt...
