Just when I thought I had made it through the Girl Scout season without caving in to the cookies, I get lassoed in by a troop at the Bedford Hills Metro North station. We were on our way to pick up a breakfast nook in Bedford and were literally assaulted by these 9 year olds dressed up as the cookies themselves. We were so shell-shocked, I couldn't even get out the Sidekick for a photo. This is just some of the haul, not shown: a couple more boxes of those crack-laced Thin Mints.

Don't really want to go in to work, but the mortgage must be paid somehow. Might have something to do with the near-80 weather we're enjoying. Not a cloud in the sky, but oh well... At least I have Murakami's brilliant book to keep me company.

For the honeymoon, we ended up staying a couple of hotels down @ the Grand Baja in S.J. Del Cabo. Another gorgeous all-inclusive to be enjoyed by us ALONE. The food was world-class in terms of taste and presentaion, and the service was more than commendable. Went into Cabo San Lucas (the "hip" part of Los Cabos) and took in many sites there. Definitely check out Squid Roe, CaboWabo, and 20/Twenty for some ideas on the nightlife (pics not included). Here's some shots of my lovely wife, the view from the grounds and my balcony, and of course, those wedding bands...

Back in Phoenix after 10 days in Cabo. No pics of the wedding itself (who was gonna snap 'em?) on the SKII but tons of images to share. We stayed @ the Crowne Plaza Hotel in San José Del Cabo, and had an all- inclusive blast! Friends and Family joined us for all the festivities. The wedding was magical, and there was definitely love in the air that day. My estranged Father even made the trip out and blessed us with his presence. The Crowne Plaza was gorgeous, as you can see. We also went to the top of the "wishing mountain" @ Las Palmitas. Legend has it that by making a wish and then placing a stone on the cross, your wishes come true.... Some Pics of the entrance and waterfall, with more pics to follow... Special shout to heidis & mlee for their wedding congrats!

Flew from NY to PHX with little fanfare...All I got to see of my first ever trip to Phoenix was what you see in these pics ={ Oh well, the next stop will be worth it. LOS CABOS, MEXICO!!! Kinda puts the "Destination" in destination wedding, huh? I won't be able to post once we get there because I refuse to pay T-Mo's exorbitant roaming fees. I will snap photos of course and post when I get back...Wish me luck, Hiptop Nation!!

Sorry, forgot to add text to the previous post. Tartan Week celebrates Scottish heritage, with the highlight being the sword used by William Wallace (Legendary Hero from "Braveheart"). They say that Wallace measured 6'6" and that his famous broadsword was 5'4" long! Looking at this bad boy, I can believe it...
