Many powerlines are down, meaning a lot of teh suck for the residents of Yonkers... Luckily, nothing down in my area, but it was impressive nonetheless... Downed tree branches all over the area...

Naya had a ball when Grandma came over last night. She's cooing up a storm and already trying to vocalize... It's scary how much she's progressed in just 2 months. They're like 2 totally different babies at this point... The only thing that's similar is the crying ;-)

After my Mom stimulates her to the point of mania, guess who gets the mop-up duty? That's right, the Sandman...

For those of you who aren't parents out there, this is why you do it... I know it's not from my SK3, but surprisingly I can never get these moments when I have to wait for the camera to power up, adjust my lighting settings, etc... These are from my Olympus Stylus 700...

On to the house of Reptiles, where creatures great and small reside... From top to bottom: a turtle, anaconda, aligator, croc and baby croc, red spitting cobra, king cobra, and a snapping aligator turtle (it was HUGE)... rounding out the trip was this grizzly bear, and the only monkey who would stand still long enough to be photographed... We tried for the gorilla exhibit, but it was jam packed with summer camp kids and I wasn't trying to hear that... Naya is now slumped in her car seat, exhausted from the overstimulation...

Started off with the Giraffes, a snack break for Naya, then hit up the Mouse House where this Mongoose was holding court... Then we went to the Butterfly house which featured a large Koi pond... My wife is just as beautiful playing butterfly, which made Naya laugh and coo... And some of the cool sculptures surrounding the exhibit...
