I feel so geektacularly cool right now. I purchased a Dakota "disposable" digital camera from Ritz for $11 -- the idea is that you take 25 pictures with the digicam then return the cam to Ritz to get the images removed from the cam and developed (conviniently costing another $11 for the prints/cd). I wasn't about to pay that much for images, so I sacrificed a Palm m100 serial cable and a usb cable -- a minor change in the serial cable pinout, and a few squeezie connectors later and voila -- plug the hax0red cable into the computer and camera, and gphoto gleefully downloads the images to my computer. I just paid $16 for a 1.3 megapixel camera (including cables).

Picked me up a Publix sub and a bottle of chocosoy and headed to Lake Leon for lunch. A welcome change from eating at the mall or in a fast food joint.

This is so cool. It's one of those ultra-compressed sponges with which I was enthralled as a child, usually of the dinosaur variety. This is part of an advertisement for Jeep, and, suffice to say, I was NOT disappointed in the least by its reconstituting powers! TEH SUPER MEGA ULTRA COOL
