Stopped by the new Petco to pick up a new bulb for Cornelius (the bulb I bought him not 3 weeks ago blew out this morning). Saw a cat house thingy that proclaims "Cats love it!" while displaying, on the box, a cat who clearly does NOT love it. Also, while heading into the reptile section (aka, the "not cuddly pets" section), the worker guy dood started talking aboot the scorpions and he took one out for a foto-op. It was totally fun! And skeery. Very, very skeery.

When I was exposing the photo silkscreen emulsion earlier, I took a few pictures, hoping to share info aboot this new process I learned.... Instead, I was pleasantly surprised by the reaction of my skcam to the 1000 watt UV bulb. Looks like a computer screen! Guess the refresh rate of the bulb doesn't mesh well with that of the cam ccd.

Hey Mike, thanks for the link. I'd seen a good number of the original articles before, but the page consolidates them and showed me some new articles I hadn't seen. Now I'm enthused to build my own viewcamera. You can see some of my photos here.

Drove to Panama City Beach with Nicki to do my photo project - 669's of cemenet novelties. Found a freekin gold mine at the "original" Goofy Golf. It was closed down for the season so we just ran around taking fotos. Fun times!

Got a project due in the near future, so I'm on the hunt. I'm taking fotos of mini golf statues in Panama City Beach with some sexxxy 669 Polaroid film. Bringing two pack cameras (just in case) - an automatic 210 and a super shooter land camera. Classic stuff. Gonna do neg transfers from the 669 neg (neat stuff, ghetto brand of emulsion lifts). They're going in a book I've made out of astroturf. God, I'm such an art-school fag.
