Hit massive standstill traffic. After about 45 minutes of inching, we found the culprit... First, a fender-bender, then a big'ol honkin accident involving a flipped van. Ouch.

We had to stop. Got some trinkets, went up the elevator, etc. Neat lil 1hr diversion, but I've been up 24 hours now and I'm ready to get to my parent's house and sleep.

Helping a friend move his crud out of his apartment. This is in theory the last trip, with the insanely heavy futon on top. Now we're going 25mph across town with the hazards blinking, spazzing with our hands out the window freezing cold and stuff. Brrrr.

Just stretched my ears to 7/16ths. Went to classic tunnels, not a fancy wooden plug or anything... I'll see if I can find my 10g captives to dangle from them.

Went to our swanky little art store to purchase Christmas cards to send to relatives. I was gonna get the Superfriends Christmas Cards, but opted for a less commercial feel -- folded origami on pink kitty origami paper, placed in handmade envelopes made of specialty papers, and sealed with a kitty sticker with crazy Japanese lettering. I feel it's got a bit more of a personal touch, know what I mean?
