I hate doctors. Especially the long-ass wait at the office. And the cold, sterile rooms. And cold, metal instruments being shoved in me.

I recently decided I was fat, as I shopped for clothes today and had to get the next size up in pants. So I've started a workout regimen -- DDR 4 LYFE!! I dance for 35 minutes (25 min actual dancing) and according to the in-game computer, I burned 303 calories (about 17 calories per song), which is the equivalent of 3.4 miles jogging, 1890 jumping jacks, or 1.5 miles swimming. Donno how accurate it is, but I'm tired and sweaty. And my smoker's lungs didn't make it easy... *huff*puff*

Long drive, started at 6pm, had a 1.5hr stop in Durham, NC to meet a friend we hadn't seen in a year or so, hit South of the Border, and now we're just about at the GA-SC State Line. About 5 hours to go.... Sooooo loooong....

Our tradition is that we open one present on Christmas Eve.... Sorta tides us over. Heh. My brother opened his present from me, 10 LPs that he likes, from Meat Loaf to Neil Diamond to Disney songs, and the brand new Me First and the Gimme Gimmes album. He's never heard of them, but I think he'll like them. Mom got a foto I took of flowers, then framed. She likes it. Dad opened his new digital camera - Minolta A-1 or something. I got a pair of Joe Rocket motorcycle shoes, with sturdy leather construction, with gearshift support, toe protection, ankle protection, and outside laces. They're sooper cool.

Here are jpgs of my mom and bro playing Pacman, and of my shoes - they're really all black, not with white panels - that's my body heat coming from the nylon portions as detected by the skcam. INFRARED ROOLZ
