The Salvation Army pulled through and offered me a Polaroid Super Shooter, circa 1970, for $2. I love old Polaroids, and this is now the 3rd one in my budding collection, in addition to a 210 Land Camera and a SX-70 OneStep. Add some pack film, and voila!

While cleaning the house the other day, we unearthed a large amount of change strewn about the floor. Collected into a jar, I imagine we have about $40 in spare change. Off to the Coinstar!

Sitting around on the "wrong side of campus" -- this is the science side, where chem and math whizzes bump head. As an art student, I feel completely out of place. Waiting til 3:35, when my computer literacy class starts. A joke class, as I'm sure I'll pass with flying colors and without even trying, but it's a required class for graduation, and it's exclusively Windows (ugh), the likes of which is not allowed in my household, making it logistically harder for me. I can do all the same coursework in OpenOffice and Evolution and whatnot... But the exam will take place on Office XP. Stupid campus contracts with MS -- they'd save so much if they just migrated to lunix. Serio.

Hurray! Nothing more fun than a trip to a home improvement store. Actually, I guess a lot of things are more fun, especially if you don't have any money -- I tend to get all excited about little things, like "oooo track lighting would look faboo in the office!" and "wow, these rhodedendrums would really spruce up our front yard!" then reality crashes down around me when I open my wallet and moths fly out. Pity me. Or rather, give money to me.

My poor girlfriend sprained her knee yesterday while we cleaned and rearranged the house. How she's stuck in bed watching daytime tv. Poor chica... That's a fate worse than death.

Klickity's this crezzy lil Tetris-esque game that comes with KDE3.1, and it's got the same addictive quality as does Tetris. I've played 817 games, and it was on this 817th game that I FINALLY beat it. What an easy game -- I was hoping to break 1000 failures.

w00t! I succeeded in the noble goal of trying to get a Mac PowerBook 170 on the webbernet. It tears it up at 14.4kbps, with BetterTelnet2 driving a stick to telnet to my gateway and use lynx and BitchX for connectivity. I need to ask my prof for the funny-looking mini-SCSI connector such that I can connect it to a SCSI ethernet card (the likes of which I do indeed have). Yayayay for 68k!
