all in all, i have to say that i think i am going to like shooting in this medium. special thanks to my homies for their patience and to alf for moral support.

the next series is a set of portraits. i would like to be remembered one day as the annie liebowitz of the hiptop medium. black backdrops and a probing camera. i want these photos to say, "what is this homie all about? those piercing, yet vacant eyes. poignant. it disturbs yet elates me." i could see these homies posing for gap ads one day. very photogenic.

jibba chooses to shoot the hiphop homies first. what should we do, says homie rapper "life too shorty". "just act natural", i say. b-boy stances and thug life poses rule the day today.
