i went for a walk on crosby street in soho to revisit old haunts. i used to work in the foster peet gallery @ 152 crosby in the early 90's and frequented the tapas bar, the original knitting factory and the red stripe bar. things have changed a lot in 10 yrs. there's now a lot of upscale boutiques down here now, like this vespa shop. i love vespas though. -- jibbajabba

the facade of the brooklyn public library central branch in grand army plaza. there are some interesting details on the grand doorway, but from a distance, the facade reminds me of mussolini-era imperialist architecture. -- jibbajabba

upa members introduce themselves before i begin to talk about blogs/k-logs.

the projector i was to use turned out to have a burned out bulb or something so i had to speak without visuals. the audience had 6-up printouts, but it must have ben hard to follow some of my discussion. it was definitely a challenge for me to speak withou slides. -- jibbajabba
