![]() ![]() ![]() I had kicked around the idea of a new tattoo while in Houston. I had wanted some stars done for a bit, so I printed out my designs and hit the streets earlier this week. No luck, didn't like the peope places and or prices. Today I had ctually left after my pool party to find Ice Age, the night club owned by Mike Jones. It was a fruitless trip. Luckily though, the glowing neon of Space City Tattoo caught my eye. The front desk chap was friendly and quoted me a price that warrented me asking if that was for both. It was. Horrah! Overall a great and memorable experience. The highlights being: 1. Took almost 4 hours. 2. The place was all hispanic gang members 3. at one point a crack head came in and they paid him a meager wage to wash all the windows. 4. My tattoo artists first conversation piece was "I just got out of jail yesterday". 5. The other artist was tattoed head to toe, literally, with such things as the Cadillac logo on his check, and an H under his eye for Houston. 6. We listened to hardcore Houston based rap very loud the entire time. Even I blushed at some of the content. In the end, I got what I wanted, had a memorable experience, and paid dirt cheap. All in all a great way to wrap this trip up. |
