Finally got some pics of the shenanigans that go on here. The ping pong table sits on top of the pool table. As well a picture of my building. The 2 red lights and green street sign are right where my office is, I'm on that weird half-corner, 2nd floor, with windows on each side of the 45 degree corner. Also some pics of the local part, across from Bellevue Square mall where the rich come to frolic.

So today I was watching a documentary on addicts {meth, coke, video games} and the guy was going to town on DDR and I thought that looks like some good fun wintertime exercise, and hey maybe I'll learn a few slick moves. 10 mins later this bad boy was mine off ebay. Next stop GameStop tomorrow at lunch to pick up the games since this was just the mat.

I went no where near a retail store today as any deal worth fighting over is long gone byy 10am when I woke up. Instead I opted for teriyaki beef, and to watch movies today while finishing up some homework. I'm kicking this movie marathon off with Love Liza, a gripping tale of a gasoline huffer, followed by Blue Crush and 2 Fast 2 Furious. I have a very distinctt palette when it comes to movies.

I decided that rather than run around like a maniac today I'd just take it a bit easier. I've thoroughly enjoyed my DS poker game. Being a multitasker by nature I'm currently enjoying Requim for a Dream, playing the DS, have my laptop up incase of any urgent internet needs, and my ipod charged and ready for a walk at 3pm. I don't think I ever just sit down and so nothing.

Unfortunately I underestimated the commute time to school from the south side, so I would have been late to finance class... So I just kept heading home. A collection of commuting in Seattle pics follows, including Qwest stadium, misc traffic, my stereo playing the Circle Jerks, and my pit stop at Starbizux while I wait for traffic to thin out.

I returned to lord hill for more hiking shenanigans. Did 1 hour on different trails today, it was great. Went up to one look out point which is probably much more exciting when its not cloudy out. The ipod has served me well though on the hikes and I'm quite glad I bought it.

I then travelled south to return a japanese anime video my wife rented. Normally I'd be none too happy about the 50+ mile drive, except it allowed me to visit my new most favorie store, Frys Electronics. Its like Best Buy on speed, and without the retards for employees. Got to play with the remote controlled 350z, checked out the Robosapian, the Xbox 360, and did a little xmas shopping which I dare not show as my brother may happen upon this post, but I can share the pc mic I got, as well as the double game pack for my Nintendo DS. I normally am not a big DS'er, but for $30 to get a poker game which was well reviewed as well as a foootball game, which alone sold for $30 also, I figured it was a sign too buy. Now I have 3 hours before class and I'm wondering why I decided to not bring my DS today :(

I left my old job last week, and have a week until i start my new one. So in my week off, I'm trying to make the most of balancing household chores, getting caught up on school, and doing stuff I don't normally get to do like hiking. Today i went to Lord Hill park. Actually, Monday i went to 2 different "hiking trails", for which the Parks & Rec department of Snohomish County has some nerve calling hikes. They were at best 1/2 hour meandering nothingness through thinly wooded areas for which you could see houses through. But Lord Hill did not disappoint, as I did but 20% of the hiking trails available, deeply wooded, and hilly, muddy, etc... everything you want out of a hike. I shall return noble Lord Hill the rest of my week... weather permitting.
