Well wedding engagement party... my brothers best friend. Oddly enough my brother wasn't there yet my mother being a social creature had the rest of us go.

All in LA I wanted a money clip. My wallet isn't we'll designed to hold cash so I had a random mix of bills in my pocket. I looked high and low and best I found were ones with sports reams. Lame. I hit ebay hard and lo and behold... a 350Z clip. Bought it, and it was anxiously waiting for me when I returned. Also coming should be a dell docking station for my home and an external dvd burner. Next up: 3 in 1 printer scanner fax.

LA was great as always. Nothing too exciting during the week happened. My bag is 5 lbs overweight, I said charge it. I'm too lazy to pull 5 lbs of crap out and have to lug it onto the plane. Flights delayed an hour... can't wait to get in Seattle, get my car, see the cats, look at my pics from LA and cry myself to sleep. Okay not the last part.

Again nothing exciting. Went to Venice Beach after work. Not nearly as fun as the busy weekends. A few tourists, a few hobos, and some urban youth yelling at people. Most shops were closed or closing, so I made quick work of it. I then headed ro Santa Monica to hit the 24 HR fitness. Not that impressive but okay, I stayed there about 1.5 hours. I then walked to the SM Pier which like VB was fairly vacant, but at least was all tourists. I hung out a bit, then back to my car, and to the hotel. I'm now doing laundry, and sitting in the lobby about to read Tommyland and people watch.

Been pretty tame since the weekend. Monday after work I came to the hotel, went back out to the Magic Johnson 24 Hour Fitness where I learned what it feels like to be a minority (me = white, everyone else in the packed gym = african american). It was a great gym though with big glass walls and a view over LA. Magic did a nice job on the facility. Tuesday after work I hit the SFV. Went to the Coffee Bean, then walked around Balboa park. I then cruised my old boulevards, traveling from Van Nuys to Woodland Hills on Victory, and bacl down Ventura Blvd. I then hit the Encino Barnes and Noble and purchased a book about the Valley and Tommyland. From there I went to the Beverly Hills 24 hour fitness. It sucked. Its in the basement of some fancy building.. Its hot humid reeks and was under construction. I won't be back. It was a shock for sure, I expected nothing but the best and beautiful people. Far from it. I'm now at my hotel to retire for the eve, and plan my last 2 evenings in LA. Have a few plans in the works.

After Santa Monica drove up the coast a bit, thru Topanga Canyon into my turf the SFV. Went to the mall real quick, then on to 101 fwy to Universal City Walk. Good wholesome fun. Did one of those water bed massage things, was a good $15 investment. Afterwards went to Northridge mall for some boaerdshorts so I could take advantage of the hotel hot tub outside.

Hit venice beach and the Hollywood hills the rest of saturday.

Hit up Santa Monica for the morning. Good times. Next: PCH, Canyyon roads and Universal City Walk.

Landed super late friday night and they lost my bag for about 30 mins. Finally it showed up, I went and got my rental a Pontiac Grand Prix, and found the Raddison. Nice place. So by 2am I was i n bed. Got going about 9am today. Started off with a trip down memory lane, in the SFV. Drove by my old apt, old works, and hit the Coffee Bean. I then also made a special trek to Circus liquor. Lucky me it opens at 10am (drunks are early risers) and even better they had tshirts for $5. Best way to kick off the trip. Got a few pics and headed to Pink Motel of Animal Chin fame. Then to Burbank mall where I got a Sidekick car charger as all the pics were already taking a toll on my battery and it wasn't even noon. Next stop: Venice Beach.
