As you can see, I'm all settled in to my new cubicle now. After six months of working out of a conference room with five other programmers, having a cubicle has never been so blissful. It's nice to have walls separating me from my co-workers. It's even nicer to have space again to set up my books, my computers, and to spread out and work.

We kept hearing "3 to 6 inches, followed by freezing rain, and a possible burst of 2 more inches of snow before it's through."

...well, we got about 3 inches of snow before it changed to rain. I had to shovel a slushy driveway and wipe the wet, white crap from the Starband dish.

This makes our second snow before Christmas. I wonder if we'll be so lucky to have a third, making it a white Christmas for northern Virginia?

Pictures of my computers at home, and my office. A Sun UltraSparc and an Athlon XP 2400+ keep me company at home, while a Dell Pentium 4 with dual monitors keeps me company at the office. Oh, and Stitch... Most importantly, Stitch! :D

Sterling, VA, got about 7 or 8 inches of snow Friday and Saturday. Despite the sun, it's still pretty white outside.

Mike is giving a presentation on command-line cvs, wincvs, and cvs integration in IntelliJ IDEA to our new hires. We hooked up a Compaq XGA projector to his desktop, and then he stepped through the presentation.

I hardly use the cvs command line, but I'm familiar with wincvs and use cvs with all my java, delphi, and python projects. It was a good refresher, and I like the SOP and cvs quick reference he passed out.
