I'm glad to see Mike was able to get his "new" Sidekick working thanks to the great folks at Danger. I'm hoping Jen has an equally easy time once she gets hers. Despite cancelling the T-Mobile accounts, I didn't realize that the usernames would remain attached to the IMEIs unless specifically asked.

The Cingular EDGE network is everything I hoped it would be, but there was a bit of a learning curve configuring the Motorola V600 for use. Unlike the Danger Hiptop, the Motorola V600 comes blank and requires users to configure it if it's to be anything more than a cell phone. Ross Barkman and Cingular corporate have been a great help.

Being that it's "hiptop Nation" and I'm now hiptop-less, I'm posting my exploits with the V600 to skHolla and Innovations. MikePop, could you make an exception for one hiptop fan & V600 user on mycingular.com? :)

In what was a dreary and long day, Vicky noticed the blossoms on the weeping cherry tree out front. She asked that I take a picture of them.

I've kinda been lost in projects at the office. My co-workers and I have been working to see that one gets out the door on Thursday. I've also been worrying about my current project and looking forward to getting it underway.

Unfortunately, in the midst of what's been a busy couple of weeks and equally busy weekend, I let someone slip. I wanted to apologize to Thule and Eric for not calling them back. Both are very gracious and kind people... and I'm truly sorry for not returning their calls to meet up this weekend.

It's supposed to be sunny and 50'F today. You wouldn't know it from right now. It was 23'F when I left the house. It's supposed to be 60-65'F on Thursday and Friday, which is closer to "going topless" weather for the Jeep.

Speaking of which, I need to check J.C. Whitney and Bestop soon. I'm looking to replace my aging soft-top with a tinted soft-top and hard half-doors (sliding glass windows).

Anyhoo, hope it's warmer where you are.

Pacey warmed up to me fairly quickly, but Cody has always been afraid of me. I always suspected that Cody dreamt of a puti lalaki as his bogeyman.

Vicky's parents celebrated their 39th anniversary yesterday. Cody always hung around his mom's legs or asked to be carried. Once when she got up for soda and he didn't notice, he ran looking for his mom. When I outstretched my arms, he ran into them and hugged me.

Maybe this is a good sign for Vicky and I? :)

It was a foggy and misty drive into the office this morning. They're forecasting a high of 77'F by this afternoon and partly sunny. Unfortunately, we're due for some rain tomorrow and temperatures around 55'F by Sunday.

Assuming I can leave work while the sun is still up, today might be a good day to take the top down on my Jeep.

The last five days have been gorgeous. We've been having weather in the upper 60's to low 70's since Sunday. Alas, the rain moved in last night. The Weather Channel is forecasting clouds and rain through Saturday, followed by winds and cooler temperatures.

Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.
