Being without a Sidekick this last weekend, I installed outdoor lighting and a 3-person swing with a canopy in the back yard this week. It's too dark in these pics for the swing, but the lights show up nicely.

The color Sidekick which I bought from CompUSA on 06/06/03 died last Thursday. Both Danger and T-Mobile didn't have replacements in stock, so I was issued a Nokia 3390 as a "loaner phone" and told to wait.

Vic Gee (SidekickMe at www.hiptop.com) offered to look into why my CSK died, and worked diligently in finding me a replacement. I'm very thankful for Vic Gee and Zz Zimmerman at Danger, Inc., for helping me through my trying ordeal and restoring me to an extremely happy Sidekick user. Thanks Danger and T-Mobile!!

Nextel made an offer for the CSC building on Edmund Halley Drive, Unisys is in the midst of making an offer for Plaza America. Either way Reston, VA, will no longer be used for our offices.

We had a meeting yesterday with CSC management where we learned Chantilly, VA, will be our new office starting in mid-August. (I'm going to miss Reston. It was a good area and a nice commute.)

Normally, Vicky uses our 2003 Nissan XTerra SE during the week while I use our 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sport. She had yesterday off and worked the night shift last night at GW, so I've been driving the XTerra.

Of course, I usually leave my employee badge and swipe card in the Jeep... So I found myself locked out of the office this morning.

While the color Sidekick's cam is able to use the sight on my 90mm Maksutov-Cassegrain scope, the focal length is off when putting the cam directly in front of the eyepiece. I either get glare, or blurry overexposed photos.

I'll keep trying... Eventually I'd like to take a photo with a comparable level of quality to what I had with my older Nikon Coolpix 950, which you can see in this picture I took of a full moon.
