Unreal Tournament 2004 (DVD Edition) arrived for my 15" Apple Powerbook today. I spent the evening brushing up on my FPS skills and then joined the hordes online.

Not a bad evening-- I won more games than I lost. I can play Deathmatch for hours, but Assault, Capture the Flag, and Onslaught are the most fun. I love the new vehicles, particularly the Manta and Hellbender.

Yeah, I see major sleep deprivation in my future...

The roses in the kitchen window are now in bloom, the cherry tree has blossoms, and odd flowers Vicky planted haved bloomed. This can only mean one thing...

I got the iSight today when I stopped by Apple to pick up Unreal Tournament 2004. Unfortunately, I won't have UT2K4 until Friday or Monday... but the iSight's pretty slick! :)

iChat is very nice with video to other iChat clients. AIM's video wasn't nearly as impressive as video chat in Yahoo. VideoCapture 1.0 from Adnx has been my latest "must-have" app for OSX. It allows jpg and qt mov direct from the isight or any attached usb cam. It's free and a surprisingly "lightweight" app.

Between the iSight, my Canon SD100 Elph, and the Sony DV cam, I'm going to need to spring the $249 for Final Cut Pro soon. :)

While the pair and cherry trees are in full bloom here, it's hardly the weather to enjoy it. We had drizzle throughout the day, with heavy rains expected tonight through Friday. There's a nice grove of cherry trees at the entrance to my office, while white pair blossoms line the road. If weather permits, I'll try to snap some shots of them later this week.

Vicky and I went to the National Air & Space Museum's Udvar-Hazy Annex today. It just opened about a little over a month ago near Dulles Airport off Route 28.

We both truly enjoyed ourselves. I took over 200 pictures with the Canon SD100 Elph. The exhibits included an Air France Concorde, the Enola Gay, and the US space shuttle Enterprise. I'll try to post pictures of the exhibits later today.

While I'm geekin' this morning while Vicky is getting ready, we're doing lunch out with friends and family, and dinner by ourselves. It's already been a nice week for Vicky and I, and tonight will be special.

My co-workers and I are to preparing to release a new website today. I spent 18 hours at my desk yesterday coding and debugging several thousand lines of code. My two co-workers worked just as tireless getting all of our code to pull from Oracle 9i, display, report, and insert correctly.

I hope today marks our release candidate... we need to debug some more, finish the emailAgent, and catch the few unseen exceptions we found yesterday. Wish us luck! :)
