I gave Vicky a Sony Clie UX-50 with 512MB MemoryStick for her birthday, she gave me a cold... :)

Anyhoo, since we both have today off, we're having brunch at Amphora Diner, then going to Shrek 2 at the Regal Cinema in Sterling.

I'm told Dragon's Well Lung Ching is very popular... a good green tea. I got 8oz of it and a blue dragon steeping cup from Asiachi for the office. Hopefully I'll cut down on the coffee and relax with green tea instead?

Vicky doesn't care much for it... but I love it! She tells me it looks pangit (Tagalog: ugly), while I think it has personality. It's the "cargo shorts of computer bags" with my 15" PowerBook G4 (1.5GHz) in a padded Belkin sleeve, my iSight in one pouch, my Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra (my wife has my iPod & iTrip) in the other pouch, and my CDs, firewire cables, and adapters in the front pouch. Everything I need for work and travel in this one bag.

Yeah... "Happiness lies within" :)

Vicky and I spent her dad's birthday yesterday at Longhorn Steakhouse with her family. It was fun having baby back ribs with the family, then watching Filipino DVD's at her parents' house afterwards. Thankfully, they were subtitled so I was able to enjoy them as well. :)

I revised Vicky's & my website this evening for a more "Panther-like" feel since I'm so enamored with my Powerbook. I truly can't say enough kind words about the new 1.5GHz Powerbooks or OS X as an operating system. It's truly a good thing Apple has going.

Despite telling my office that I might work from home yesterday, I pretty much only logged in to check the bug count and perform a cvs update. I slept for almost the entire day.

I'm back today after a day's rest and plenty of Tylenol Cold. I had 3 voicemail, 6 e-mail, and a message from my boss telling me he's as sick as a dog and will be out today...

...seems it's going around.

Fighting a cold and getting 3 hours (or less) of sleep each night for the past three days has taken it's toll on me. I'm tired, congested, and fevered, so I'm going to sleep for the rest of today and tonight.

On the plus side, almost all of my MP3 collection is on my new Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra and sync'ed to the Powerbook, and Vicky's Sony UX-50 is working beautifully.

Now it's time for me to catch up on sleep and try to shake this cold...

I've connected my new Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra to my Powerbook, I installed the iTunes plugin, and I'm in the midst of copying 4019 songs (13.2 days, 24.15GB) to my new friend...
